We share the vision of the Obama Foundation and the entire community. We have a vision of creating an “engaging and welcoming place that will both honor our shared history and inspire people throughout the world to show up for the most important office in any democracy – that of a citizen.”

Every community has a story to tell and sometimes the buildings are the treasured pieces to that story, erected structures that are a part of history. They stand through generations sharing what once was. We appreciate the mission of the Obama Presidential Center and the intention of the Athletic Center. There is no disagreement that this will truly be a space for recreation, engagement and storytelling.

We look forward to being a part of building a home for recreation, engagement, storytelling and story-making. As individuals, we aspire to be supporters and mentors of the next generation of leaders. Collectively, as a team we will demonstrate and put those words into action.

There is an undeniable understanding of the responsibility to uplift the South Side – OUR community. This team was established with the dream of positively impacting a community and changing an industry.
